About Jack Jones Fitness & Personal Training

We are a fast-growing, dynamic, young company (not yet one!) with creative ideas and strategies on improving peoples' lives through an 'outside the square' fitness approach. Our key focus is the provision of individualised, small group and personal training services within our own premises, located on Crosby Rd at Albion.

We absolutely love what we do and we want to grow our team of trainers, by bringing on board like-minded individuals, who are committed to the Fitness industry for the long-term and who want to keep on learning and sharing their knowledge with others.

Our personal trainers work on a contract basis, which means, they are paid for the hours they work. We offer a performance-based system which rewards our trainers, so the more hours they do, the more they get paid. Initially our PT's train the clients that we provide them with. We then work hard with them to prospect additional clients, building their contact hours and in turn, growing their profile.

Must Have Qualifications:
  • Certificate IV in Fitness (achieved through a National Registered Training Organisation) or a Degree in Human Movements, Exercise or Sports Science
  • Current Level 2 First Aid (Senior First Aid) and CPR qualifications
  • Current Fitness Australia registration
  • Public liability and Professional Indemnity insurance
Experience:

We are definitely looking for PT's who have had hands-on, client-based experience in both one-on-one and group training scenarios (minimum 6 months)
You must understand and have experience in Olympic-style lifting and functional training techniques

Our Wish List:
  • You have or are willing to obtain a blue card to work with people under 18 years of age
  • You are able to complete initial screenings and conduct 'low-risk' fitness assessments using standard procedures
  • You are self-motivated and you will operate within your role, as if the business is your own
  • You want to learn more, share knowledge and develop within a tight-knit team environment
  • It is not essential but it would be a fantastic advantage if you have programming experience in both indoor and outdoor group fitness (Boot camp style training, spin, circuit-based functional training, boxing fitness etc.)
On-going support & training is provided for our PT's, including:
  • Weekly team meetings and weekly scheduled team training sessions
  • Team outings and team-building events
  • Attendance at professional development workshops
Looking forward to hearing from you:
