Our Brunswick studio is unique, our site impeccably designed over a split level warehouse style building in the heart of Sydney Road and positioned alongside a team of allied healthcare professionals with the intention of offering our member base, which is so incredibly diverse and representative of the eclectic Brunswick culture, a fully integrated health and fitness optimisation package.
About the role:
We are looking for an experienced Studio Manager to join the team, someone with 'personality plus' and a 'can-do attitude,' a natural leader to complement our team of passionate and inspiring trainers.
This role includes a mix of on-floor hours delivering BFT fitness classes - and off-floor hours, overseeing studio operations and coordinating our member journey, the end to end processes involved in maximising member growth whilst minimising attrition, executing on our vision of developing a thriving community.
Key responsibilities:
- Sales! Spearhead membership sales and member retention strategies, End to End member management and relationship building,
- Achievement of membership growth targets, providing an exceptional member experience
- Develop and help foster a positive, motivational and community-based team training environment.
- Coordinate studio challenges and other workshops
- Assist our Head Trainer and team in driving optimal results for members.
- Work collaboratively with our onsite allied healthcare practitioners when required
- Assist with the day to day operations of the studio, ensure the studio is impeccably maintained.
About you - skills and experience you need:
- Sports, fitness, health or relatable tertiary education
- Proven success building and sustaining a client base
- Experience motivating and managing a team of trainers
- Excellent spoken and written communications skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to develop strong relationships and rapport quickly
- Enthusiastic, professional and supportive attitude towards clients and other staff
- Self-motivated, goal oriented and able to meet KPIs
- Excellent attention to detail with outstanding time management and organisational skills
- Passion, enthusiasm and genuine motivation towards wanting to improve the lives of others
- Ambition for career progression
- High level of integrity
- Can-do attitude
Qualifications you need:
- Certificate IV in Personal Training or Certificate III in Group Fitness
- Current Senior First Aid and CPR
- Fitness Registration and all necessary insurances
