Our classes are a fitness experience with more.  45 minutes of Pilates-inspired resistance training with a side of rowing. High-intensity format for one of the most challenging and effective workouts you can do.  A different class each day, all day.

Responsibilities:

MANAGEMENT

  • You work closely with the owners to create a best-in-class studio experience and to achieve the business goals.
  • Bring the energy and excitement of the STRONG brand as the face of the studio.
  • Meet and greet all members and get to know their fitness goals and attendance patterns.
  • Generate and convert membership sales.
  • CRM management including member requests, new client activations, etc.
  • Staff rostering and general communication with the instructor team.
  • Manage studio programming in conjunction with the STRONG movement team.
  • Show STRONG leadership and initiative and be a support for the instructor team.
  • Maintain upkeep of the studio including merch supply and display, cleanliness, Rowformers, washing/soaking of eucalyptus towels, etc.
  • Assist in the sale of memberships, merchandise and other offerings.

STRONG CLASSES (if instructing)

  • Deliver a minimum number of STRONG Pilates classes per week as agreed with the owners.
  • Give clients personal attention during class, ensure that your cueing is clear, precise and easy to follow.  Ensure clients are using correct form at all times.
  • Know the client's injuries before class so that you can modify where needed.
  • Inspire and promote an energetic environment.
  • Balance teaching, changing lights and music during class all while staying on top of your timing and programming for the day.

MARKETING

  • Oversee proactive strategies in relation to local area community engagement.
  • Manage both studio Instagram and Facebook pages including creating content.
  • Build out corporate program.
  • Manage promotional offers and monthly newsletter content.
  • Promote member engagement through key initiatives such as member of the month, 50/100 class club, etc

QUALIFICATIONS:

To become a certified STRONG instructor you must have at least one of the following:

  • Cert III/IV in fitness or Pilates Instructor Certificate (Mat/Reformer)
  • Lagree Fitness Instructor Certificate
  • Dance Qualification

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in managing a fitness studio
  • Willingness to work flexible hours
  • Ability to motivate clients
  • Ability to develop STRONG relationships with clients
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented
  • Passion, enthusiasm & genuine motivation towards wanting to improve the lives of others
  • Excellent attention to detail
